Typical food in Bogota

In Bogota there are many typical plates for example "Ajiaco", "fritanga", "tiny mazamorra", and "tamale". The "Ajiaco" is a soup prepare with chicken, pope of different regions, ear and “guasca” it is served with capers, cremates of milk and rice. Also the “fritanga” is a plate prepare with different meats: head, pig, sausage, pope, arepa and other, this plate is very famous. The “Tiny Mazamorra” has head soup, onion, and pea, beans, carrot, and potato, flour of corn, garlic, salt, pepper and cumin and rice.

To finish with the typical plates the “Tamale with chocolate” is a mass of corn with meat, chicken, pig, chickpea, onion, garlic and salt inside some banana leaves and it is cooked to the vapor accompanied by hot chocolate.

Now in Bogota there are also a lot of typical desserts, the most popular its the "Cuajada con melado" that is a dessert of milk with panela; rice with milk, dessert of born, “breva con arequipe”, sweet with syrup with fruit, “cocadas” and “masquesas”.

The typical plates and the desserts describes after that have the Bogota city are very delicious and important that represents the culture that people have.
